Their bread is baked fresh daily and any leftover goods at the end of the day are donated to local charities.[1].

One of their best sellers in Canada is it's cinnamon buns. They have developed a range of scones and products tailored to meet the needs of the Canadian consumer. While they want to stay true to their brand values they've also learnt that it's important to meet the needs of local tastes says Aaron Gillespie, President of COBS Bread[5].

History of COBs Bread[edit]

COBS Bread is part of Bakers Delight. Bakers Delight was originally established in Australia in 1980. They focused on sourcing local ingredients from nearby farms which were processed by family-owned millers. There are now bakeries in 700 locations across Australia, U.S.A., New Zealand and Canada.

Bakers Delight was started by Roger and Lesley Gillespie and has grown to over 700 bakeries in communities around the world.

Part of COBs Bread and Bakers Delights core philosophy when the company was founded was that after every day, the goods that have not sold are donated to various local charities[6].
