Charan Dass Nidharak (Charan Dass Kainth; 1899-1990) was an Indian-Punjabi Dalit rights activist, social reformer, political leader and poet, who served as the Senior Vice-President of the Scheduled Castes Federation (succeeded by the Republican Party of India), Punjab Chapter, from 1956. Nidharak championed the empowerment of marginalised groups such as women and scheduled castes, through his poetry and public speeches.
