Chatfield is a populated place in Arkansas. Jerry Donal Jewell, a dentist who became the first African American to serve in the Arkansas Senate was from Chatfield. It is near Memphis, Tennessee.[1]

Mallory Farms was located in Chatfield.[2] Russell Mosely has used Chatfield as a setting in his writing.[3] Dr. Luther Davis was a planter and ginner of cotton in Chatfield.[4]
