Chrispin Mukonde is a Zambian media personality and businessman.[1] He is the founder and CEO of The Mukonde Organization a conglomerate of companies.[1]

Mukonde received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Rusangu University in 2023.[2] He founded the Mukonde Organization in 2015 under the name Pro Vecrus G.D. [3]Mukonde renamed it the Mukonde Organization in 2023 and reoriented the company toward building and managing universities, hotels, hospitals and recreational centers.[1][4]

Chrispin Mukonde was born on November, 24, 1994 at Monze Mission Hospital, Zambia,[5] the fourth child of Goodfellow Mukonde, a Zambian-born Wildlife Police Officer whose parents were Zimbabwean immigrants, and Liya Munandalu Mukonde, a seasoned business woman.[1]

Mukonde grew up with older siblings Christon Mukonde, Caristor Mukonde, and Jane Mukonde[6] and younger sister Mary Mukonde. Chrispin Mukonde attended the public Ngoma Primary School[7] from grade one through ninth grade. At age 16, he was enrolled at Up Hill Day High School,[8] a public day high school, and, in 2016, he enrolled at Rusangu University[2]. In 2018, he switched to block release to concentrate on his business. The same year, Mukonde Registered Mount Summit Stone University of Science and Technology [4]which he later renamed to Mukonde University of Medicine, Science and Technology[4] in 2024. On October, 15, 2022, Mukonde registered and opened Foodie 24/7 Restaurant[3]. In December, 2022, Mukonde went back to School to finish his Bachelor’s degree at Rusangu University.[2]  He graduated in September, 2023. The same month after graduation, Mukonde registered Mukondeplolitan Hotels and Apartments[9].

Family[edit]

In 2023, Mukonde married Katebe Mwape Mukonde. They currently do not have a child. However, Mukonde has a son Gabriel Jr. Mukonde with Abigail Mutemwa.

Religion[edit]

SDA Church

Mukonde is a baptized Seventh Day Adventist. He was baptized in 2011 at Choma Central SDA Church.

In 2014, Mukonde's church membership was transferred to Libala Central SDA church in Lusaka.[10] Currently, Mukonde worships at Hillcrest SDA church in Livingstone, Zambia.[11]
