Christian Garrett (born August 16, 1992) is an American venture capitalist and entrepreneur with 137 Ventures.[1][2] 137 Ventures are investors in SpaceX, Gusto, Flexport, Lattice, Workrise, Anduril, Palantir, Uber, Brex, Spotify, SolarCity, 2U, Stord, Wonolo, Ramp, Course Hero, Hadrian, TrueNorth, Torch, Intercom, and more[3][4]. Christian is the son of actress and philanthropist Cynthia Garrett [5], and also the grandson of famed African-American real estate investor Bernard Garrett Sr. and the godson of the late billionaire Theodore J. Forstmann . He played college basketball at The University of Kansas from 2011-2015[6][7], where he went to the Final Four in 2012 and lost to the Kentucky Wildcats in the championship game[8]
