David Andrew Bissett, known by the stage name Cloonee, is a British DJ and music producer.

Career[edit]

In 2019, Cloonee released 'The Ciggie'[1] on Solid Grooves Raw and his first Beatport #1 hit, 'Be Good To Me'[2] on Big Beat.

In 2020, Cloonee achieved another Beatport #1 with 'Like What' on his CLNE imprint. He signed tracks 'What Ya Want'[3] and 'Let's Rave'[4] to Black Book Records and released 'Get Stupid' on CLNE, which reached #2 on Beatport.[5]

In 2021, Cloonee had another Beatport #1 with 'Sun Goes Down'[6] and collaborated with Spanish producer Wade on 'Mi Amor'[7] garnering millions of streams. He embarked on his 'Love You Like That Summer US Tour,' performing at various venues and festivals.

In 2022, Cloonee remixed Chris Lake’s 'Turn Off The Lights'[8] and collaborated with Lake on 'Nightmares.'[9] He launched Hellbent Records, featuring tracks like 'Tripasia'[10] and 'MOFO,'[11] and toured extensively, including dates at Club Space[12], Brooklyn Mirage, Electric Forest,[13] and Arc Music Festival.[14]

In 2023, Cloonee released both 'Weeping Willow'[15] in collaboration with Sosa UK, as well as 'Fine Night'[16] on his label Hellbent Records. He played headline shows at clubs and played multiple festivals around the world including Club Space[17], Kappa Futur Festival,[18] and III Points[19]. He played his own headline show across two days in Los Angeles, selling over 7000 tickets in total.[20]
