Commentary on Chronicles Attributed to a Student of Sa'adiah Gaon is a commentary on Hebrew Chronicles whose author is unclear.

The commentary was first published in 1874 by Raphael Kirchheim based of three manuscripts with a introduction in German. Kirchheim titled the book "Ein Commentar zur Chronik aus dem 10ten Jahrhundert", in the Hebrew front page he attributed the book to a student of Saadia Gaon. Kirchheim uesed three manuscripts in hes edition: one from Rostock University library, wich served as the basic text, and a manuscripts from Bavarian State Library and Royal Library of Turin for compromiseing.[1]

Kirchheim attributing the commentary to a student of Saadia Gaon for two main reasons: the commenter quotes Saadia a manner thet indicate that the commenter know Saadia well and because a quote in the Tosafot in Yoma that refers to a Commentery on the book of Chronicles by students of Saadia Gaon, wich appears in this commentary.
