Conrad Taylor (born September 9, 1996) is a German-American dual citizen producer/DJ and former politician from New York City.

Early life and education[edit]

Born in New York City, Conrad grew up in Manhattan. He attended Binghamton University.

Political Career[edit]

In his political career, Taylor made significant strides by running for city council[1], where he contested against the long-standing Republican Council President, ultimately becoming one of the youngest elected officials in the history of the United States. [2] [3]

During his tenure on the council, Taylor advocated for various social causes including affordable housing, support for survivors of domestic violence,[4] and the introduction of the Welcoming Cities Resolution. [5] [6] [7] Additionally, he served as a surrogate for Bernie Sanders during the presidential campaign. [8]

Taylor gained notable attention for his vocal opposition to the privatization of the joint sewage treatment plant, highlighting his commitment to community welfare and transparency in governance.[9] [10]

Transition to Music[edit]

Transitioning from politics to music, Taylor embarked on a successful career as a DJ and producer. With performances alongside renowned acts and a growing presence in New York's underground and club scenes, Taylor's genre-fluid style and dynamic performances have earned him recognition and respect within the music industry. He's recently opened for The Chainsmokers[11]

His musical journey includes releases on esteemed labels and plans for future endeavors, solidifying his status as a multifaceted talent with a passion for both public service and music.
