Cornelis T. De Wit won the 1984 Wolf Prize in Agriculture[1] while he was at the Agricultural University, The Netherlands.

De Wit won the prize along with Don Kirkham. The prize was awarded for "for their innovative contributions to the quantitative understanding of soil-water and other environmental interactions influencing crop growth and yield”.[1]
