Crimson Riot often stylized as Crimson R!ot, is a female-fronted American punk rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2017. Composed of members of The Roxy Gunn Project, a mainstay of the Las Vegas cover band circuit. The group rose to prominence after winning first place in the music competition series "Who Will Rock You?"[3] hosted by Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.[4] The group now tours regularly throughout the United States.[citation needed]

Inspired by their success in day jobs as cover musicians on the Las Vegas Strip, Crimson Riot formed in 2017 to allow musicians Chris Reject and Roxy Gunn an outlet for their personal musical creativity. Quickly they began opening for national touring acts within the Southern Nevada area until winning first prize on the Topgolf-sponsored music competition series, "Who Will Rock You?". As first prize the band won paid performance slots at Top Golf Nashville and Las Vegas golf clubs and $25,000 cash[5]. Following this victory, the band released their debut album Classy Punk For Trashy People to positive reviews [6].
In 2020 Crimson Riot followed with their sophomore album, It Took an Apocalypse, featuring former MTV and VH1 personality Matt Pinfield, reading a definition of punk at the beginning of a track that also features a guest musical performance by Matthew Lillard of SLC Punk.[7]
