United Arab Emirates–Croatia relations[edit]

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Croatia enjoy friendly and cooperative relations. Bilateral ties were formally established on June 23, 1992, following Croatia's declaration of independence from Yugoslavia. Since then, both countries have maintained a positive diplomatic dialogue and have engaged in cooperation across various sectors.

Political Relations[edit]

Both countries share a commitment to peace, stability, and international cooperation. They regularly consult on regional and international issues of mutual interest, such as cybersecurity, counter-terrorism, and human rights. High-level visits between officials have contributed to strengthening political ties. In 2020, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman met with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
