  • Comment: The map is misleading, suggesting that the entire red area is Crown Prince Frederick's Land. This, combined with lack of details about size etc. makes it difficult for the reader to understand the extent and location of this Land. DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:29, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Crown Prince Frederik Land (Greenlandic: Nuna Kunngissaq Frederik, Danish: Kronprins Frederik Land) is a area in the northernmost part of Greenland, which is named after the current Danish king, Frederik X.[1][2][3] It is bordered to the west by Knud Rasmussen Land, to the north by Peary Land and to the east by King Frederick VIII Land.[4][1]The territory was awarded by the first Prime Minister of Greenland, Jonathan Motzfeldt in 2000[5][3], after the then crown prince completed a four month long expedition from Qaanaaq (Thule) and north of Greenland down to Sled Patrol Sirius' headquarters in Daneborg, an expidition that stretched over 3000 km and completed by dog sled.[5][3]
