Dan O'Riordan is a self-published author originating from Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland and now living in Central Victoria, Australia.
Dan's first book, "From The Bru to The Borough" was released initially in 2015 and within weeks became a best seller on Lulu Press. It is now available exclusively on Amazon. However, there are negotiations at the moment with London-based publisher, Austin MacAuley for a global publishing and distribution deal for the book.
Dan was born in Cork in 1971 but grew up in Dungarvan. Over many years he had suffered severely with mental health issues as a result of bullying, physical abuse and sexual abuse.
Dan's sexual abuser, a close and trusted family friend and neighbour, was initially sentenced to 18 months behind bars but, after an appeal against his sentence, he served just three months.
Dan launched his book in the hopes that it may help someone and is now available in Paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon.
Dan is currently working on his first fictional novel.
