Daniel Rosen (born October 10, 1973) is an American real estate executive, and public policy advocate, and community leader. He is the President of the American Jewish Congress, a New York-based nonprofit organization founded more than 100 years ago by luminaries including Albert Einstein and U.S. Supreme Court Justices Felix Frankfurter and Louis Brandeis.

Biography

Rosen was born in New York City, the son of Jack and Phyllis. He is Jewish. His grandparents were Holocaust survivors immigrating to the United States from Europe after the end of World War II. His father Jack Rosen is a longtime leader in the American Jewish community.

Daniel Rosen graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a concentration in Economics. Upon graduating cum laude from Harvard University, he accepted an analyst position at The Walt Disney Company and was promoted to a director within the Disney Internet Group in under five years. During his tenure at Disney, Rosen worked on building the company's strategic relationship with ABC, ESPN and Disney's then-developing Internet strategies.

Rosen is the Chief Executive Officer of Rosen Partners LLC, an international real estate development firm involved in residential, commercial, and hotel developments.

American Jewish Congress

A committed Jewish and pro-Israel leader, Daniel Rosen has been active in the American Jewish Congress since his youth. Due to his involvement and contribution, he was elected and served for two mandates as President of the American Jewish Congress’ New York Metropolitan Region.

Rosen was also a leader of the International Conference of Mayors in Israel, the organization’s flagship event held annually, which brings together prominent mayors and leaders from around the world, creating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration.

Daniel Rosen served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of American Jewish Congress prior to being elected by the Board in 2023 as President of the American Jewish Congress, succeeding his father, who had led the organization for over 25 years.

Social Activism and Engagements

President Joe Biden appointed Rosen in February 2023 to the President’s Export Council, the principal national advisory committee on international trade.

In 2014, Rosen was appointed by President Barack Obama as a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, the Board of Trustees for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.

Among his other varied community involvements, Rosen currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Riverdale Country School and on the Board of Directors of the Council for World Jewry.

As a grandson of Holocaust survivors, Rosen has also been dedicated to ensuring that the lessons and memories of the Holocaust are passed onto future generations and has spoken on his role as a third-generation survivor on behalf of the Museum of Jewish Heritage as well as in company with Vice President Gore at the 50th Commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising at Madison Square Garden.
