Danushka Kumaratunga is a Sri Lankan writer of Essence[1][2][3]. Chameera Danushka Kumaratunga commonly known as Danushka Kumaratunga ( Sinhala: ධනුෂ්ක කුමාරතුංග ) is a writer, lyricist, musical artist, creative director[4] & journalist in Sri Lanka. Being a lyricist, Danushka Kumarathunga's creativity gave life to the rock music variation; Manusatha, with the musical legend Chitral Somapala.

Biography[edit]

Danushka Kumaratunga[5] was born in Matale, Sri Lanka, on November 01,1990 and educated at Vijaya College, Matale. His music career started in the year 2010. Danushka wrote songs[6] in different genres and the song Manusatha sung by rock singer Chitral Somapala was the turning point of his music career.

Danushka Kumarathunga is the author of Essence[7][8]. Essence is a different genre of design, and its page layout is in a Western magazine format. Danushka is a young Sri Lankan designer who always creates creative and different designs. Essence can be described as a creation that can give visual inspiration to the viewer.As a research work, Essence was a popular work among Sri Lankan readers.
