Prior to writing "Ella The Ungovernable." Mr. McDonald wrote and directed two films about the town of Woodstock and its influence on the American counterculture: "Woodstock Can't Get There From Here" and "Woodstock Revisited." Other films include "The Mystery Of Creativity,"[3] which explores the connections between creativity and spirituality, and more recently, "My Encounter With The Ghost Of Joe Zelli," which delves into the life of 1920s Parisian nightclub king Joe Zelli.[9] That film recently debuted at The Prague International Film Festival.[10]
