This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of films). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Dear Imelda is a short film written by Declan Curran and directed by Árón Holden.
Plot[edit]
Set within the vast countryside of rural Ireland, Dear Imelda is a dramady which follows the unwanted open-ended arrival of grandson Ciaran to his nanny Imelda’s traditional home.
Desperate to cling to her independence, Imelda disputes the need to have Ciaran dropped into her life, especially when he takes the presumption of installing something which he requires to work from home, the internet.
In an attempt to mediate the ongoing friction, Ciaran demonstrates the benefits technology could contribute to his Nanny’s off the grid lifestyle. In doing so, he discovers that he can play a vital role to a friendship on hiatus some 60 years.
