Dejan Danilovic[edit]
Dejan Danilovic (born February 26, 1963), is a prominent Serbian automotive editor, writer, and media owner. With a career spanning over 30 years, Danilovic has covered significant advancements and innovations in the automotive industry, reporting from various parts of the world including Europe, the American continent, Africa, and more.
Career[edit]
Danilovic graduated with a degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade in 1988{{50 Years of Faculty of Political Science in Serbia}}.
Danilovic's career in automotive journalism has been marked by his extensive coverage of new car advancements and innovations, as well as new model premieres globally. He extensively wrote reports various word regions such as Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, England), the American Continent (the US East Coast and the Caribbean), Africa (Morocco, South African Republic, Kenya), and others.
Danilovic is the owner of Auto Magazin Group, where he serves as the Director and Editor-in-Chief. His past roles include executive and editor positions at Auto Magazin and Automobil. He also helped stablishing the first car-focused, specialized TV shows "Auto magazin," broadcasted on Sport klub the SBB cable operator in Serbia in 2010, and managing a printing company.
Currently, Danilovic is engaged in covering topics related to new times bringing new technologies, challenges like ecology and "green" technology, advanced safety systems, the development and application of software in the automotive industry, and more advanced engines.
Contributions and Associations[edit]
Danilovic is one of the founding members of the Association of Professional Automotive Media. This association was formed by five specialized media outlets with the aim to improve the quality of their work, assist in the education and advancement of their teams, and restore shaken credibility.
The crisis in journalism and professional standards has not spared many editorial offices, confirming the rule that quantity does not always bring the expected progress. The Association believes that new topics and areas will require journalists with increasingly greater knowledge.
Personal Life[edit]
Dejan Danilovic is married to Aleksandra (Stankov) Danilovic. Together, they have a daughter, Iva Danilovic Stojanovic.
