Desert Storm Film[edit]

Desert Storm is a 2017 South African Survival war film, written, produced and directed by Kevin Singh. The Director of Photography was Farren Singh and the was co written by Avon Singh. It is set in Texas in 1985 and Iraq in 1991.[1]

Plot[edit]

Two best friends are pitted against each other when a new girl comes to town, matters are further complicated when they enlist together in the U S Army to fight in the Persian Gulf War, the men and their unit captured by Iraqi forces and must work together with other prisoners of war to escape Operation Desert Storm.[2]

Production[edit]

With a $13 000 budget, Filming began late September 2015 for a week the Texas scenes, then a month later they shot in a desert reserve in the Northern Cape.
