Dhayalan Mohanasundaram (born February 16, 1990) is a businessman who currently serves as the Joint Managing Director at Amirthaa Dairy, a dairy company based in Erode, Tamil Nadu (INDIA). He is also the founder of Milchmann, a subsidiary enterprise of Amirthaa Dairy.

Early life[edit]

Dhayalan is the firstborn of R. Mohanasundaram and M. Sathyavathy. His father, a former milk vendor, later became the founder of Amirthaa Dairy. Dhayalan completed his primary education at Carmel Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Erode and earned his B-Tech degree in Biotechnology from VIT University in Vellore.

Marriage and children[edit]

Dhayalan is married to D. Thivya Kumari, a loving and supportive partner who has been by his side throughout his journey. Together, they have a child named D. Mithul Kiruthik.

Career[edit]

Dhayalan Mohanasundaram has been the Joint Managing Director of Amirthaa Dairy since 2011. Amirthaa Dairy that was founded by R. Mohanasundaram in 1984, with an initial capital of Rs. 750/-. By 2011, the company had grown into a successful enterprise worth Rs. 250 crores.^[1]

In 2011, Dhayalan established Milchmann, a premium dairy product manufacturing company that offers UHT milk, milkshakes, and other dairy products to customers throughout Tamil Nadu.

Social Activities[edit]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dhayalan Mohanasundaram aided physically challenged individuals and underprivileged families in Erode.

He also supported 50 migrant workers who were struggling financially by providing them with essential items for their livelihood.

In collaboration with Hon. Mohan Kumaramangalam, the former head of Tamil Nadu Congress, Dhayalan provided relief to the families affected by Cyclone Gaja in Pattukottai, Tanjore.

Recognition[edit]

Dhayalan established the "Amirthaa Dairy Employee's Co-operative Thrift and Credit Society," which provides financial support to employees.
