Don Noble is a literature professor emeritus at the University of Alabama who hosts the Bookmark with Don Noble show on Alabama Public Television and presents a weekly book review on Alabama Public Radio. His public television show first aired in 1988. He has been doing weekly book reviews on the radio since 2001. He has edited four anthologies of Alabama fiction.[1]

He is a native of New York. He moved to Alabama in 1969 to teach English at the University of Alabama.[2] His Bookmark show features discussions with guests.[3] He has interviewed various Alabama authors including Winston Groom, Rick Bragg, Fannie Flagg and Sena Jeter Naslund. In 2017 he received an Arts Award from the governor of Alabama.[2]

Alabama Living Magazine published an interview of him in July 2019.[4]
