Drew Schutte (shoe ta) is an American media executive based in New York City who has served as the former Chief Revenue Officer of Condé Nast Digital and Publisher of Wired, The New Yorker, and Details.

Schutte joined Wired as West Coast Advertising Director in 1994, was promoted to Associate Publisher, then Senior Vice President, and Publisher in 1999 upon the publication sale to Advance Magazine Publications Inc. subsidiary Condé Nast Publications.

He served as SVP Publisher through the dot-com heyday and downturn and is credited with creating a series of unique brand extensions and collaborations including, Wired NextFest a world's fair of technology which launched in San Francisco in 2004 [1] and The Wired Store [2] in 2005 in New York City. Both tentpole brand extensions would last several years.

In 2006 Schutte was promoted to Vice President, Publishing Director, Wired Media[3] and led the purchases of both Wired News from Lycos[4], and Reddit from it's founders Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian[5]

In 2008 Schutte was named VP-publishing director of The New Yorker, his first post unaffiliated with Wired.[6]

After leading revenue at The New Yorker, Schutte was promoted to lead all digital at Condé Nast as the company's first Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer, Condé Nast Digital managing a consolidated team of salespeople and marketers.[7]

After a successful career at Condé Nast Drew Schutte held the CEO roll of the social impact technology startup Actionable and has consulted with several top internet companies, Pop Up Magazine Productions, Digiday and Quartz.

In 2023 Drew Schutte was announced as the new Chief Revenue Officer of AdWeek the weekly American advertising trade publication.[8]
