ECD Lacrosse Inc.[1] (most commonly referred to as ECD, an acronym for East Coast Dyes) is a Maryland[2]-based sports equipment manufacturer from Towson, Maryland.[2] Focusing primarily on lacrosse, East Coast Dyes makes lacrosse equipment for men's and women's lacrosse including primary parts of the stick including heads, shafts, mesh, strings, end caps, tape and more.[3] They are currently partnered with the Premier Lacrosse League,[4]National Lacrosse League[5] and NCAA men's and woman's tournaments and seasons.[6] ECD Lacrosse was founded in early 2011 by twin brothers Greg and Mike Kenneally in their homes as East Coast Mesh and East Coast Dyes with two main products being mesh and stringing services for sticks along with dye for lacrosse heads.[7]
Men's lacrosse[edit]
ECD Lacrosse has partnered and had their products used in leagues such as the Premier Lacrosse League and National Lacrosse League and formally featured products in Major League Lacrosse. As of 2023, ECD Lacrosse is one of many sellers to have products included as some of the best-sellers in the lacrosse gear and equipment industry.[8] In September 2022, the "Echo" lacrosse arm pad was the first protective gear released by the company after exclusively releasing stick-related gear before.[9] The current line of men's lacrosse heads include, the "Ion", released in 2022 alongside the "Echo Arm Pad",[9][10][11] the "Mirage 2.0", released following the original was released in 2016,[12][13][14] the "DNA", released in 2019,[15][16] the "Rebel Offense" and "Rebel Defense" for both positions in field lacrosse released in 2018,[17][18][19] the "Weapon X" released in 2019 for faceoff specalists in field lacrosse[20][21] the "Bravo 1" meant for intermediete lacrosse players at the high school or middle school level,[22] released in 2019[23] and the "Impact", the first lacrosse goalkeeper head introduced in 2022.[24]
Aside from lacrosse heads, ECD Lacrosse has also primarily made shafts for lacrosse sticks which include the "Carbon" line of products introduced with the original up to the 3.0, released in 2022[9] alongside the "Bravo 1 Shaft" which completes the "Bravo 1" head for the complete stick.[25]
Women's lacrosse[edit]
In women's lacrosse, ECD has made multiple heads and shafts as women's lacrosse rules have multiple stick differences compared to men's lacrosse.[26] The current line of products features the "Infinity" and "Infinity Pro" heads, released in 2021.[27] In addition to the heads released by ECD Lacrosse, the shafts also included complete the stick with the "Infinity" and "Infiinity Pro" shafts.[28] The Infinity Pro Head is apart of ECD Lacrosse's "Project Beta"[29] which shows off "diamond plastic", which is a see-through multi-layered plastic that resembles diamonds. This is used on the men's "Ion" and woman's "Infinity Pro".

ECD Lacrosse also has other products which include end caps, shooting targets, the "MINT" lacrosse ball, ballstop, tape, "self-tapping colored screw" and other accessories.[30]
