EMR Connect

EMR Connect, formerly EMR Electrics is a commuter service that is owned by the East Midlands Railway (EMR) linking Corby with St Pancras. Since May 2021, as part of the Midland Main Line upgrade, it has been operating the Class 360s since the electrification works from Bedford to Kettering and Corby have been complete.[2]. This is in contrast to the EMR Intercity services from St Pancras to Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield. It also operates the Luton Airport Express service from London to Luton Airport. [3]

Services[edit]

EMR Connect runs two trains an hour every weekday stopping at the following destinations from St Pancras to Corby:

Luton Airport Express[edit]

In March 2023, an automated guided people mover, the Luton DART, opened between Luton Airport and Luton Airport Parkway railway station.[4] EMR now advertise the Luton Airport Express service as an airport rail link, with a headline figure of 32 minutes from London St Pancras to the airport terminal using the Luton DART, the cost of which is included in the train ticket price.[5][6]
