Eko Ejembi Eko is a Nigerian lawyer[1] and notary public known for his extensive legal career and contributions to various fields of law, holding the rank of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.[2] Born on May 17, 1980, is from Benue State, Nigeria, Eko is recognized for his expertise in litigation, human rights law, family law, corporate law and election jurisprudence.[3][4]

Eko holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of London, specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law, completed his legal education at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, earned his LL.B (Hons) from Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State.[5]

Career[edit]

His career includes significant contributions to Starcomms Telecommunications Limited in Lagos, where he worked in the Human Resource Department, and the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), where he served as a Programs Officer in 2007. Eko honed his litigation skills in the law firm of Dr. J. Y. Musa SAN & Co. from 2008 to 2014 before venturing out to establish his own private legal practice.[5] In 2021, he was one of 72 senior legal practitioners conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.[6] Notably, he was invited to serve and provided comments on the Dissenting View of Honourable Justice Ejembi Eko in JEGEDE AND ANOR. V. INEC AND ORS-(2021) LPELR-55481(SC)[7] as well as being counsel in many notable cases in Nigeria.[8][9][10]
