Elnaz Dadkhah (born on 5 February 1992) is one of Iran's speculative writers. Elnaz Dadkhah is one of Iran's genre writers who has 15 published works. Her works are mostly in the category of fantasy books for young people, and some works are also in the category of mystery crime and so on.

she gained many fans among teenagers and young people by writing the book "The Predator of Darkness" in 2010, and this book was a launching pad for her fame among Iranian fantasy writers.

In 2020, this author's Carnival of Horror book became popular due to its similarity with the ongoing Squid Game series and added to her fame. The book "Carnival of Horror"[1] was written and published by Elnaz Dadkhah in 2020, two years before the production and broadcast of the game series "Squid Game". An interview with Haft Sobh newspaper regarding this volume of similarities was also published.

The last work published by him is the Trilogy of the Stars of Destiny[2], which was published in the Tehran International Book Fair in 2023 and became popular.

Elnaz Dadkhah is also a translator who has translated the book Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks and the book Animal Farm by George Orwell in Iran.

life and career[edit]

She started her writing activity in 2010. The first story that was published online by him was the Dark Predator trilogy, which was considered among the first long fantasy novels of Iran. Then with high positive feedback and increasing fan base, she decided to continue this trilogy with a spin-off called Heir of the Wolf. Elnaz Dadkhah[3] is a graduate of English language translation and a resident of Lahijan city in Gilan province.

During her 12 years of activity and writing, she has recorded more than 22 works in different genres, of which only 15 have been published so far. The first book was published in the 2019 the book called Black Rose in the genre of crime and mystery, and the second edition was published in less than a week.

Elnaz Dadkhah is still considered one of the pioneers of fantasy and speculative literature in Iran. Also, in 2021, she was chosen as a referee for Ayaz Tabriz Astronomy Story Writing Competition[4] and won the competition's referee plaque. Among her other achievements, it is possible to point out that the book of the thousand-year-old girl was selected for the young section of the Parentz Literary Award[5].
