Emmeric David Conlan (born October 7 2005) is an Australian entrepreneur, businessman, and aspiring professional boxer. He founded Australian fashion label Chameleon Clothing in late 2023, and is recognised as one of Australia's only fashion designers.[1]
EARLY LIFE[edit]
Conlan was born on October 7 2005 in Parkes, New South Wales, Australia. His father David Conlan worked as a machine operator and his mother Tracie Sutton was a stay-at-home mom. At the time of his birth, Conlan had one sister. His father and mother divorced and Conlan re-located with his mother to the South Coast of New South Wales in 2012. Conlan would be blessed with three more siblings from 2013 to 2015. After circumstances changed, Conlan moved in with his father in Rokeby, Tasmania. Later, Conlan, his mother, and his siblings moved to the city of Orange, New South Wales, Australia. They would later re-locate back to Conlan's birth place of Parkes. Conlan would then later re-locate to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia where he founded his own luxury clothing brand.[2]
EDUCATION[edit]
Conlan attended Parkes East Public School is his early years of education. After he and his mother moved to the South Coast of New South Wales, Conlan attended Huskisson Public School. He would later attend Rokeby Primary School after moving to Tasmania, and Orange Public School after re-locating to Orange, New South Wales. For four years of his high-school education, he attended Canobolas Rural Technology High School, and after moving back to Parkes, he spent a further one year at Parkes High School. When he moved to Brisbane, he completed his certificate II in retail services.[3]
BOXING CAREER[edit]
Conlan began training for a career in boxing in 2023 at All Styles Gym in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. So far, he's had success in sparring, but is yet to secure his first professional bout.[4]
CHAMELEON CLOTHING[edit]
Chameleon Clothing Australia was founded by Conlan in 2023. His goal was to create Australia's only high-end fashion label. Chameleon Clothing started as an online venture that later turned into a successful business and is still on the rise today. The brand mainly specialises in t-shirts but is currently working with partners to design a new range of differing clothing as well as accessories.[5]
