End of Academic Session Exam also known as Ujian Akhir Sesi Akademik (abbreviated as UASA; Malay) is a exam introduced by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2021 to replace the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR).
It was first introduced in 2021 by the then Minister of Education Radzi Jidin.[1]
The exam is held from Standard 4 until Form 3.
For Standard 6 this exam serves as the final exam before going to SMK or SMJK. Those who fail Bahasa Melayu in SJK (C) or SJK (T) may go to 'Remove' class in SMK or SMJK.[2]
