Ephraim Poston (1865 - 1951) was an educator and poet.[1] He graduated from Roger Williams University in Nashville, Tennessee. He wrote the Manual on Parliamentary Proceedings (1905) and Pastoral Poems (1906).

He married Mollie Cox of Oak Grove, Kentucky. Their seven children were Fred Douglass, Ulysses Grant, Robert T. Lincoln Poston, Ephraim Jr., Roberta, Lillian, and Theodore Roosevelt Poston.
