Nawab Muhammed Fareed Uddin Khan, Fareed Nawaz Jung Bahadur,[1] Fareed or Fareed Uddin Khan was born on 24th June 1895 to His Excellency Sultan-ul-Mulk in Falaknuma Palace, Fareed Nawaz Jung was a member of the Great Paigah Family, Paigah's were the most powerful house in Hyderabad State second to only Asaf Jahi dynasty, Fareed Nawaz Jung was aristocrat in the Durbar of Nizam of Hyderabad, and he was an author he wrote many books such as "HAIRAT ANGEZ KAINAT, SAADAT-E-DARAIN and etc[2] and he also served as assistant inspector-general of Registration and Stamps for sometime[3] Fareed Nawaz Jung was a very Learned man possessing high literary attainments and also well versed in law., he was one of those People who were gifted by the power of knowledge, he was fluent in countless language like Persian, Urdu etc., he also loved poetry and he himself was a poet and he wrote good many books.

Being the Grandson of the premier noble His Excellency Sir Viqar-ul-Umra and a member of the Paigah Family he was one of the most powerful, influential, wealthiest noble and jagirdar of his time, Fareed Nawaz Jung was a member of executive Council of H.E.H. the Nizam of Hyderabad along with his cousin Moin-Ud-Daula Bahadur, The nawabs father and grandfather were great builders and loved archeitect many of the famous palaces like Devdi Iqbal ud-Dowla, Paigah Palace, Chiraan Fort Palace, Falaknuma Palace, Vikhar Manzil, and mosque Spanish Mosque were build by these two great noblemen, Nawab's father and Grand father were the Amir's of Paigah, Paigah Amirs held the honorary morchal (standard) behind the Nizam of Hyderabad, Hyderabad witnessed one of the greatest architectural development under the office of prime minister when Sir Viqar-ul-Umra (nawab's Grandfather) served as Prime Minister

Personal life[edit]

Nawab Fareed Uddin Khan, Fareed Nawaz Jung was the 3rd son of His Excellency Sultan-ul-Mulk Amir-e-Paigah Viqar-ul-Umrahi, he was also brother in law to Mir Osman Ali Khan, he was married to Sahebzadi Ghouse Unnisa Begum daughter of H.E.H Mahboob Ali Khan Asaf Jah VI Nizam of Hyderabad State [1], Fareed Nawaz Jung was educated in Nizam College he was granted the titles of Nawab, Khan Bahadur, and Fareed Nawaz Jang on 18th October 1917 by his brother in law Mir Osman Ali Khan, Fareed Nawaz Jung Had 3 daughter Sahebzadi Fareed Unnisa Begum (died bachelor), Sahebzadi Asmath unnisa Begum (Married to Badar uddin Khan son of Moin-Ud-Daula Bahadur), Sahebzadi Ahmed Unnisa Begum (Married to Iqbal Uddin Khan son of Moin-Ud-Daula Bahadur)

Career[edit]

Fareed Nawaz Jung was Jagirdar and assistant inspector-general of Registration and Stamps he was also an author who loved writing and he loved poetry, one of his most famous books was “Hairat Angez Kayenat” [4] which he published in 1937. he died in Aiwan-e-Begumpet [5] now Chiraan Fort Palace which was later converted into the club by Grandson Hyder Nawab, Fareed Nawaz Jung was buried in Paigah Tombs with his father H.E Sultan-ul-Mulk and grandfather H.E Sir Viqar-ul-Umra.[2]
