Find My Electric is an online automotive classified marketplace headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company was founded by Brian Altstatt and Dan Oksnevad in 2019.

Find My Electric's products and services provide a consumer-based marketplace platform for the sale and purchase of used electric vehicles. The website is best known as a marketplace for buyers and sellers of used Tesla vehicles, but currently caters to both buyers and sellers of most electric vehicle brands in the US.

History[edit]

Find My Electric was created by SaaS industry veterans and entrepreneurs Brian Altstatt and Dan Oksnevad, both Tesla enthusiasts and advocates of sustainability practices and technology.[1]

In an interview with the Denver Electric Vehicle Council, Brian stated that the reason Find My Electric was founded was because traditional automotive websites "are mainly geared towards ICE [Internal Combustion Engine] vehicles" and that he found searching through EV-specific websites in 2018 frustrating.[2]
