Fong & Chan Architects (FCA) is an architecture firm based in San Francisco, California founded in 1982 by principals David G. Fong and Chiu Lin Tse Chan. The firm focuses primarily on healthcare design but is also involved in projects in education, aviation, workplace, and other sectors. FCA is noted as the architect of record for the new de Young Museum, which opened in 2005, a collaboration with Swiss architects, Herzog & de Meuron and landscape architect, Walter Hood. FCA is also noted for designing San Francisco General Hospital, which features numerous displays of public art.
