Francesco Fagiolini (Pontedera, Tuscany, Italy; september 23, 1989),[1] better known as Francesco Cavalieri, is an italian Heavy Metal singer. Famous for being the frontman of power metal band, Wind Rose, and former singer of Fairyland.

Career[edit]

Since young he always expected to dedicate his life to music, being aware of privileged voice, decided to studied music and decided to take singing lessons. He soon discovered Heavy metal genre by bands like Symphony X, Turisas, Wintersun, Blind Guardian, and Avantasia.[2]

In 2009, he joins the metal band Wind Rose.[3] This would be the project that would give him worldwide recognition, although their first albums did not have a great impact.

In 2015, upon learning that the acclaimed french power metal band Fairyland was looking for a new singer, Cavalieri decides to contact with Phil Giordana - Fairyland's leader at that time. Cavalieri sends Giordana a recording of himself, performing the song “Paradise Lost” by Symphony X.[4] This way Francesco Cavalieri becomes Fairyland's new singer.

With time, given the growing popularity of Wind Rose in late 2010s, Cavalieri decides to leave Fairyland shortly after having released the album Osyrhianta in 2020. This to be able to dedicate himself completely to Wind Rose.[4]
