Fred Meyers is an American business executive.[1] He is the founder and the current president of the Queensboro Shirt Company.[2][3][4]

Biography[edit]

Born in the United States, Meyers was educated at Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut.[5] Later, he attended Columbia University, where he received a BA in history and subsequently an MBA in 1983.[5]

As a college student, Meyers founded the Queensboro Shirt Company in 1982 as a hobby.[1]

In 1995, Meyers relocated his company's headquarters from New York to Wilmington, North Carolina.[6][7] There, he established his company's operations in a renovated 100,000-square-foot building on 13th Street, which dated back to the 1950s.[1]

In 2010, Meyers introduced Zap Tee, an iPhone application that allows users to select or upload images for shirt printing on Queensboro's platform.[8]
