Fusionex[edit]

Fusionex is a data technology provider headquartered in Malaysia that specializes in the field of Big Data analytics and Machine Learning.[1] It was once listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market (LSE: FXI) but was privatized in 2017. [2][3] In 2020, Hitachi signed an agreement with Fusionex that would see the latter operating under it as a wholly owned subsidiary know as Fusiotech.[4] However, in 2023 Hitachi decided to liquidate the organization citing the inadequate handover of records from the previous management.[5] This was announced by Fusiotech CEO Hiroyuki Kumazaki, and essentially resulted in the winding up on Fusionex by a court order, affecting more than 500 employees.[6] [7]
