Draft:Galaxy II

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Galaxy II is a play-by-mail game that was published by Brett A. Tondreau.

Gameplay[edit]

Galaxy II was a computer-monitored game of interstellar empires.[1]

Reception[edit]

Paul S. Person reviewed Galaxy II in The Space Gamer No. 29.[1] Person commented that "Galaxy II emphasizes internal factors (economics, details of life support, power and combat, etc.) but does allow for diplomacy. The victory conditions (conquest of the map) Mean that players have no compelling reasons for long-term alliances, except possibly within an attitudinal group. If you can afford it, can tolerate rules in need (and in process) of re-writing, and want to maximize creativity in fashioning your race, I recommend Galaxy II."[1]
