It describes itself as "The ultimate Geometry Dash modding framework"[1] It began its existence in February of 2021 and started gaining popularity in 2024. When Geode is installed, the player gets a new button on the main home page which allows them to see every mod currently on Geode.

Since 2024, Geode has been very influential in Geometry Dash history. Popular mods like "Globed" have became very famous in the game for their unique features.
Famous creators[edit]
The creator of Geometry Dash, Robert Topala has acknowledged the modding game and joined their Discord server to their surprise on the 3rd of March 2024.a
Daily Dose of Geometry Dash, a YouTuber with over 52 thousand subscribers[4] has talked about the most popular mods being showcased on Geometry Dash, for example, Globed[5][6], a multiplayer service for Geometry Dash, and the "Click-Between-Frames" mod which was created recently.[7]
"GD Colon"[8], a popular Geometry Dash youtuber currently uses Geode to upload his mods onto Geometry Dash.[9]
