George William Gage (1887–1957) was an artist and illustrator known for his portraits.[1] He illustrated books and magazines and also painted.
He did illustrations for the Saturday Evening Post.[2] He also illustrated stories in McClure's Magazine.[3][4] and Everybody's Magazine.[5]
He also did two covers for North West Stories magazine.[6] Project Gutenberg lists 20 books he illustrated.[7]
He taught at the New York Evening School of Industrial Art.[8]
