Gideon D. Bantz (–) was a justice of the New Mexico Territorial Supreme Court from 1895 to 1898.[1]

Bantz is a native of St. Louis. He received his education there in Washington university, and at the Christian Bros' college and studied law with the famous Krums, graduating from the law department of Washington university in 1877. Coming to New Mexico in 1886, he has since made his home in Silver City.[2]
