Ginger Rodriguez (born April 7, 2001) is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Austin, Texas. She has garnered a reputation for her distinct style in pop music, accompanied by introspective and reflective songwriting.[1]

Her debut album, I'm Crying in a Cool Way (2018), was self-released and incorporated indie pop and alternative rock musical styles.[2] Rodriguez's sophomore album, Melancholy (2021), was a concept album about a character of the same name. The self-released album explored R&B, alternative rock, and electro-pop musical styles.[3] Rodriguez's baroque pop and latin-pop unreleased album known as Pop Cult has been teased by the singles "Leo" and "La Rosa de Guadalupe".[4][5]

Early Life[edit]

Ginger Rodriguez was born on April 7, 2001, in Austin, Texas.[6] Rodriguez was adopted by her fathers as a child and began piano lessons when she was young. At 13/14 years old, Rodriguez started producing her original songs using GarageBand.[7][8]
