God's Country is an upcoming film produced by 6th & Idaho and ZQ Entertainment, and starring Maria Bakalova. Will Soodik wrote the screenplay and the film marks the American feature debut of Egor Abramenko.
Synopsis[edit]
A young Salvadoran woman (Barrera) travels to Kentucky to meet her fiancé but discovers a nightmarish secret.

Matt Reeves and Rafi Crohn were announced as producers in February 2023 for 6th & Idaho, alongside ZQ Entertainment’s Ara Keshishian and Petr Jákl, Adam Kassan and Egor Abramenko set as director, working from a Will Soodik screenplay.[1] Melissa Barrera was set to star but October 2023, Maria Bakalova replaced Barrera in the cast. Filming was scheduled to start in Romania in March 2024.[2]
