Ryan Aidan DeChanel, (born April 21, 1992)[1] better known by his stage name Gone thursday, is a singer-songwriter, recording artist and record producer. He was born in New York City, New York, USA.[citation needed] Even though Ryan was born in New York City, he was raised in Dallas, Texas and in San Antonio, Texas. When he turned seventeen he moved to Los Angeles, California.[2]

According to news outlets Gone thursday has swicthed to the Reggaeton genre, leaving behind his R&B musical style.[citation needed] He is also reportedly working with Reggaeton singer Anuel AA and signing over to the Sony Latin music label.[3]
