Gramercy Arms[edit]

Their first eponymous album was released on Reveal Records and Cheap Lullaby Records in 2008. The album received critical acclaim in the UK and US press. The song “Looking at the Sun” which features backing vocals by Sarah Silverman was featured on the TV show Chuck as well as a Lenscrafter commercial. "Wander On" was featured on the TV show Mercy.

The Seasons of Love[edit]

Their second album, "The Seasons of Love" was released in 2014 on Reveal Records. The album received a positive review in The Wall Street Journal.[3] A video was released on YouTube for the album's song "Beautiful Disguise" which featured Lloyd Cole and Joan Wasser on lead vocals.[4][5] The song “Winterlight” received airplay on Sirius Coffee House and “Always in Love” was featured in an episode of “About a Boy.”

The Person Most Likely to Destroy You/Untogether (Singles)[edit]

The Person Most Likely to Destroy You/Untogether In 2018 Gramercy Arms released two singles: “The Person Most Likely to Destroy You” and “Untogether.” According to Derby the latter song is “loosely based on recent events” in the aftermath of the divisive Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings. Derby, who also attended Yale at the same time as Kavanaugh, describes it as a song “about a person whose lifelong dream is in danger of being thwarted by dark secrets in his past, who reaches out to friends to ensure their cooperation, and hints that he might have in fact have some dirt on them.” The video for the song premiered on The Big Takeover. https://bigtakeover.com/news/VideoPremiereUntogetherbyGramercyArms

The Making Of The Making Of[edit]

The collective's fourth album, "The Making Of The Making Of" will be released on Magic Door in April 2024.
