Groupe Touchette was founded in 1979 by André Touchette in Montreal, Quebec.[4]

Groupe Touchette acquired Atlas Tire Wholesale in 2018.[5]

Groupe Touchette acquired the Canadian operations of American Tire Distributors (National Tire Distributors) in 2022.[6][7]
