Hatem Eid (Arabic: حاتم عيد; born 21 December 1993) is a professional footballer in the Lebanese premier league, he is an Under-20 and Under-23 national team player and vice captain.. He currently plays as a left back and left wingback for Sagesse sports club.
Club career[edit]
Eid began his senior career at Lebanese Premier League club Safa.. He helped his side win one league title in 2015–16,[1] and one Super Cup. They finished second in the league during 2013–14 and announced as runner ups for the Lebanese Elite Cup for two consecutive seasons.
Eid played two seasons with Al Shabab Al Arabi SC, he helped them win the Lebanese Second Division in 2016–17 to be promoted to the first division and then played for one season with them before getting back to Safa fo two seasons where he helped the team stay in first division.
After leaving Safa, he joined Akhaa Ahli Aley for two seasons.[2] [3]
In July 2022, Eid joined Sagesse[4] for a one year contract as he helped saving the team protect its spot in the first division and currently he is in advanced negotiations with the club to renew his contract for a second season.[5]
Coaching career[edit]
Eid is the head Football Coach at Rafik Hariri University where they took the third place Lebanese Futsal Cup university tournament,[6] second place in the Boğaziçi University Turkish tournament[7] as they performed an outstanding performance and an unprecedented Rank in the history of the University in Foreign competitions and they took the second place in the Universities League Mini football tournament.
He is also the head Football Coach for Olympic Dmit Fourth division football team season 2022/2032.They qualified for the final group stage for the first time in history of the club, won the Mount Lebanon cup[8] out of 36 teams for the first time in the history of the club and were the only undefeated team in the fourth division.
