Hayman Coffee is a specialty coffee company[1] founded in 2014 in London, UK, whose initial aim was to offer specialty coffee in capsules compatible with the main capsule coffee system[2] on the European market.
History[edit]
Hayman Coffee[3] started roasting coffee in 2015, from just one variety (Hawaii Kona coffee), using a small capacity roaster. In 2016-17 it diversified its product lines and began offering a wider selection of coffees, not only in capsules, but also in the whole bean and ground coffee formats. In 2020, the company[4] acquired two larger capacity roasters. As of 2021, it began also offering coffee[5] in capsules compatible with the leading system in the USA and in unroasted green bean format.
Sustainability[edit]
The brand[6] works directly with coffee producers in South/Central America, Africa, Asia and Oceania with a focus on empowering producers with fair remuneration and on the development of long-term partnerships. Hayman Coffee[7] uses low-emission[8] roasting equipment.
Education[edit]
The company[9] provides consumers and employees with educational content on coffee history, varietals, and brewing methods.
