Early life[edit]

Hazrat Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naqsbandi (RA), the pioneer of Islam propagation in the 17th century, was born in the house of Sheikh Bashir Mahmud revealed as Shah Manohar (RH) on 1077 Moghi 6th Muharram 1127 Hijri 1715 AD. Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Al Naqsbandhi was gentle in nature. He was knowledgeable about Qur'an, Hadith and Fiqh. Most of the time he delivered bayan to give good advice according to Islam. In this regard Gausul Ali Shahsufi Ali Raza Prakash Kanu Shah (r.a.) wrote in the third volume "Shahnama" book,


Focus on the contribution of his forefathers to Islam and his propagation of Islam[edit]

Hazrat Sheikh Meena Muhammad Khan Al Naqshbandi (RH), a subordinate of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi (RH), the ancestor of Sheikh Sachi Muhammad naqshbandi (RH) lived in Gaur in 1500 AD. His ancestors came to Murshidabad, India from Yemen. Along with the propagation of Deen Islam, he worked for the propagation of the Maulvia and Naqsabandiya Tariqa . According to the tradition of their ancestors, all worked for establishing Khanqahs and concentrated on the work of spreading the Tariqa and Islam. Following these , Sheikh Bashir Muhammad Khan Al Naqshbandi (R.H.) carried out the work of spreading Islam in Arakan State. Nawab Khan Bahadur took Bayat at his hands. Nawab Khan Bahadur gave eight twenty dauns (160 dauns) of parganah land to his Murshid Sheikh Bashir Muhammad Khan Al Naqshbandi (RA) as a free property for spreading Islam. Which Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Al naqshbandi (RA) received as he was his only son. In this regard, Gausul Ali Shahsufi Ali Raza Prakash Kanu Shah (R.A.) wrote in his book Shahnama, Volume III:


Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naxabandi (Rah:) brought the Buddhists and Sanatan believers under the Tranquility of Islam and donated 80 daunas of property among them. In this regard, Gausul Ali Shahsufi Ali Raza Prakash Kanu Shah (R.A.) wrote in his book Shahnama, Volume III:


Saint Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naqsbandi (RA) and his disciple[edit]

Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naqsbandi (RA) was a high ranked Sufi saint . He was a high ranking Pir and Bujurg of Moulvia , Sarwardiya and Khandan e Naqsabandiya . Mehfil e sama used to listen and performed . In this regard Gausul Ali Shahsufi Ali Raza Prakash Kanu Shah (RH.) wrote in the third volume "Shahnama" book,


Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naqshbandi (RA) had numerous devotees, murids and caliphs. Among his caliphs were Ali Khwaja and Buye Khwaja. His ardent disciple Buye Khwaja (r.a.) dug a Dighi in the service of Pir, which is known as Bezar Di, Bue Khwaja's Dighi. Regarding his disciples, Gausul Ali Shahsufi Ali Raza Prakash Kanu Shah (R.H) wrote in the book "Shahnama" Volume III,


Family Life[edit]

Sheikh Sachi Muhammad Naqshbandi (RH) married Syeda Jobaida Khanam revealed as Ma Paran Bibi (RH) was the Khalifa of Khawaja Abdur Rahman Magfuri (RH) and Awlad-e Ghause Pak (RH) and settled in Joara (Sabujgram). . In their family, the world-famous Alwliya e Kamelin Tapasmukut saint , the best poet of the 18th century, Pir Syed Ali Raza (RH) was born. He nominated his only son as the rightful successor with the Caliphate and Khilqa at the age of 13.

Death[edit]

Nawab Sheikh Sachi Naqsbandi (RA) passed away on 13th January 1142 Moghi 29th Paush 14th Muharram 1194 Hijri 1780 AD. According to his wishes, he was buried on the eastern side of Bue Khwaja Dighi.

Death anniversary[edit]

His annual Fateha and Ursh are celebrated on 13th January every year at Gausia Rahmaniya Mawla Manzil, Oshkhain Darbar Sharif, Anwara, Chittagong.
