Henry Kernaghan was a politician in Mississippi. A Republican, he was a leader of the party in Rankin County, Mississippi.

He contested his election loss to Charles E. Hooker for a seat in the House of Representatives (1888 United States House of Representatives elections).[1][2]

He served as a postmaster.[3]

He testified about intimidation used by Democrats to discourage African American voters.[4]
