Hirō Isono was a Japanese illustrator (November 30, 1945-May 28, 2013) who is recognized for his art direction in the Mana game series, also called Seiken Densetsu. He graduated from the Aichi University of Education in 1968 & after a two year break, began working professionally as a freelance artist for a corporate design studio. Most of his pieces contain intricate nature scenes inspired by places he’s visited that reflect his appreciation of forests & jungles.
