Hon. Francesca Naymarie Musa Akande (born April 16, 1984) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician and a current leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nigeria's North-Central State of Kaduna.
Early Life (1984 - 2001)
Hon. Francesca Naymarie Musa Akande was born in Kaduna to the family of Francis and Celestina Musa. While her father, a Nigerian military officer at the time, hailed from Kurmibi, her mother is the daughter of Agwam Wadon, Chief Thomas Auta, a promiment king in Wadon Kingdom. Both communities are part of Zonkwa, the headquarters of both the Zangon Kataf Local Government Area as well as the Bajju Chiefdom.
Raised in a typical Nigerian family brimming with life and indelible memories, Naymarie was sent by her knowledge-loving parent to the Federal Government Girls' College, Kakori in Kastina State for her secondary education. She graduated in 2001 with flying colours.
Tertiary Education
One of the most educated female politicians in the country, Hon. Naymarie holds a National Diploma in Maritime Transport and Business Studies from the National Maritime Academy, Oron, an LLB Honours degree and a Master of Science degree in International Development from Northumbria University, Newcastle in the United Kingdom. She is currently studying for a PhD in Leadership and Strategic Studies in the Nigerian Defence Academy.
Career & Professional Journey
Hon. Naymarie's professional life is a colourful blend of robust legal practise and public service. Cutting her teeth at Century Associates where she interned in 2010, she proceeded to Sam Ologunorisa (SAN) & Co. before taking up the role of Principal Partner at Black-Pearl Solicitors.

An avid lover and servant of the people, Hon. Naymarie has held several political positions in Kaduna State including: - Technical Assistant to the Governor on Legal Matters - 2018 - 2019
